Arts and culture are alive and well in EG! Prospective employees for your business will appreciate the diverse activities, and there are many opportunities for corporate community engagement as well.

Public Art
Art contributes to the harmony and vitality of a community. With an expanding township, East Gwillimbury is actively looking for new ways to integrate more public art into the downtown core, creating more interesting and appealing living spaces, for both residents and tourists.

The East Gwillimbury Public Library was founded in 1974 by Town Council - to provide all residents with public access to more knowledge. The Holland Landing Branch was built in 1985 and is open 43 hours per week, and the smaller Mount Albert Branch, built in 1998, is open 40 hours per week.

Community Groups & Service Clubs
East Gwillimbury plays host to a wide variety of unique clubs and classes: such as Pokémon League, family read and plays, walk/run’s, informative Tech Thursdays, Tween Scene DIY drop in’s, sing and sign language classes for infants and toddlers, euchre nights, sewing tutorials, and more! For additional information about current clubs and classes running within East Gwillimbury, please visit the Town’s Calendar of Events.
