The Green Lane & Yonge commercial area is expanding with the addition of 145,000 square feet of commercial floor area within the Fieldgate site. This expansion is expected to create 260 full and part time jobs.

Geo. A Kelson expanded and re-located its head office and manufacturing plant to East Gwillimbury’s Bales Drive Industrial Park Area, bringing in 100 new jobs. Kelson is a large mechanical contracting firm which has been involved in the mechanical contracting for major hospital, universities, and large commercial projects across the GTA. Kelson has been voted as one of Canada’s 50 best managed companies for the past four years.

Technicore is one of East Gwillimbury’s largest industrial employers and has grown from a small contractor to a full service tunnel boring business employing close to 150 people.  Technicore’s notable projects include the Billy Bishop Toronto Island Airport tunnel. Currently, there are plans for Technicore to expand its existing operations in the Bales Drive Industrial Park Area.

This company headquartered in Markham, Ontario, Canada, and has operating divisions in North America, Europe and Asia with manufacturing partners in South America and Australia. Multimatic's core competencies lie in the manufacture of stampings, welded assemblies, mechanisms, and suspension components, as well as the design and development of automotive body / chassis systems. This company has emerged as a major global supplier of high quality automotive parts.
