The southern border of East Gwillimbury has seen substantial growth with the expansion of retail facilities at Green Lane and Yonge Street in the west and the Highway 404 extension in the east. Job creation is at an all-time high, and we’d like you to meet four of our largest employers.


Geo. A Kelson 
This large mechanical contracting firm has been contracted for major hospital, universities, and large commercial projects across the Greater Toronto Area. The company expanded and re-located its head office and manufacturing plant to East Gwillimbury’s Bales Drive Industrial Park Area, bringing in 100 new jobs. Kelson is a Platinum Member of Canada’s 50 Best-Managed Companies.


Technicore is one of East Gwillimbury’s largest industrial employers and has grown from a small contractor to a full service tunnel boring business, employing close to 150 people.  One of the company’s notable projects is the Billy Bishop Toronto Island Airport tunnel. Currently, Technicore is considering expanding its existing operations in the Bales Drive Industrial Park Area.


Inscape Office Solutions
Inscape Corporation (Inscape) is a Canada-based designer, manufacturer and distributor of workplace furniture solutions. With its head office located in Holland Landing, this company serves clients all across North America by providing high quality office storage, filing, and wall products. The company is an office furniture manufacturer with production at two facilities in Canada and the United States, serving its customers through a network of authorized dealers. They provide a range of private office applications with classic casegood functionality, modular assembly, rich material selection, full-length modesty panels and floating top details. Inscape is the Town’s largest employer with more than 300 employees.


Dynamic Suspensions (Multimatic) 
Multimatic is a privately held Canadian corporation supplying components, systems, and services to the global automotive industry. East Gwillimbury is proud to be home to MultiMatic’s Dynamic Suspensions facility. With their headquarters in Markham, Ontario, the company also operates divisions in North America, Europe and Asia, with manufacturing partners in South America and Australia. Multimatic's core competencies lie in the manufacture of stampings, welded assemblies, mechanisms, and suspension components, as well as the design and development of automotive body / chassis systems. This company has emerged as a major global supplier of high quality automotive parts.
